"French" Is Bad For Your Wealth
Time and time again. Throughout all recorded history. When socialism is put into place in a country, it impoverishes that country.
Part of the socialist doctrine is to TAKE from the value producing members of society and give it to the unproductive members of society (under the guise of democracy). That this will remove all incentive for the unproductive to get off their butts and be productive, as well as teach the productive to not be as productive, totally escapes the socialist.
Well, in a move that any person with half a brain can see as the epitome of stupid, the French head lying bastard (Jacques Chirac) has proposed a World Tax to help fight poverty.
In the beginning - to try to win favor and lower resistance, knowing once it is in it can encompass more things - he wants to tax arms sales and some financial transactions.
Of course, like all such previous proposals, the idea is to tax things most people have no dealings with, or would even like to be taxed. And what better things to tax than high-priced weaponry and billion dollar financial transactions.
And just like times of the past, the tax, if it was allowed, would slowly spread. Smaller financial transactions. Then ALL financial transactions. Smaller arms deals. Then deals that weren't arms at all. And before too long, we would be the tax slaves of the United Nations.
And we all know the United Nincompoops canNOT be trusted with any money whatsoever. Look at the Iraq food for oil thing. And how about the U.N. giving tens of millions of dollars every month to the Palestinians via Yasser Arafat.
And seeing as the countries which are most impoverished are socialist countries or those under dictatorships, those in charge of the countries would just get richer at the hands of the rest of us.
Screw that!
I conclude that Chirac has totally lost his marbles to even contemplate such a move. Unless, of course, it is to get people distracted and talking about it, in the hopes of forgetting about some bad thing the French are doing somewhere. (And the French always seem to be doing something questionable without being held accountable - setting off nukes, blowing up ships in New Zealand harbors, selling arms to Iraq, raking money out of the Oil for Food program - which went through French banks - and so on.)
It is interesting to note that Chirac has joined up with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to push for the tax. Hey, didn't their entire country go bankrupt a little while back. Yeah, no wonder he wants free money given to him. Fucker.
And also interesting the declaration is signed by 110 countries, who really really want us productive countries to consider the report. I bet they do. And I bet they are all countries with socialist leaders or dictators like Mugabe in Zimbabwe.
What I do find funny is that the U.S. delegation said, "global taxes are inherently undemocratic. Implementation is impossible." I find it funny because if a global tax is undemocratic, doesn't it also mean taxes imposed on you by the country you were born in or make your living in, are also undemocratic?
I bet Chirac's proposal would also see this tax be stored in French banks - like the U.N.'s food for oil money was. And that THAT is the real reason Chirac wants it. His country could make billions with the money in their banks and use it on the short term money market before it went to U.N. uses.
Of course! That's it!!! Now that the U.N. oil for food thing is finished, France's cash cow is gone. This is Chirac's way of getting free money into their bank system again. It's so obvious now.
People called Chirac a worm. I consider that an insult to worms.
