Fluoridate This

Unbelievable. Some dorky dentists are blaming "drinking bottled water" as the SOLE cause of increased cavities in children's teeth.

Never mind that the entire state of Queensland has no fluoride in their water and they show no cavity increase. Never mind the vast increase in sugar and other "empty" carb type foods which actually cause calcium depletion. That, it seems, has nothing to do with it. It is all the fault of the bottled water being drunk.

Coke, it seems, it not to be worried about. Neither is candy, ice-cream, low fat (but high sugar) foods, junk type foods with practically zero nutritional value but high in other things like sugar. "Roll Ups" are not to blame. Sugar enhanced breakfast cereals have no part in it.

Nope. Poor diet can be left right out of the equation. These idiot dentists reckon the ONLY cause of dental cavities is drinking bottled water, because bottled water doesn't contain government added fluoride.

Of course, they fail to acknowledge that our species was able to eat for hundreds of thousands of years without government added fluoride. They fail to acknowledge the extensive tests carried out some 70/80 years ago when the findings were, "cavities increase when a western diet high in sugar and empty carbohydrates is adopted by a peoples. While those who remain eating unaltered native foods have NO cavities whatsoever." But then, to acknowledge such studies would refute their claims we need to have government added fluoride in our water.

Let me say something right now...

Fluoride Is POISON!

The fluoride in our water is an industrial waste product. It is cheaper to put it in our water than dispose of it correctly. It is cheaper to mix it with plant fertilizer than dispose of it correctly.

Let me also say, there is a naturally occurring fluoride. This is Organic Fluoride - not the industrial Inorganic fluoride waste product. Natural fluoride is fine. The stuff the government puts into out water is NOT.

Beware the dentists who claim cavities are caused by drinking bottled water.

Now I've Heard Nearly Everything

From the department of silly professions comes this one...

Lactation Consultant

While watching Sky News' health show today, the host of the show brought on a Lactation Consultant to talk about breast feeding.

Sometime over the last one or two hundred thousands years since we appeared on this ball of hardened mud, women have forgotten how to bare a nipple, put it into a baby's mouth and let the baby's natural sucking motion take over. Now, it seems, women are unable to do this natural act and need someone to tell them how to do it.

It made me think how lucky we must have been for all those years. What a coincidence that women somehow fluked putting the baby's mouth onto their nipple. What a fortuitous turn of events for this to have happened for hundreds of thousands of years, generation after generation. And all the time, without the much needed wisdom of the professional lactation consultant.

Give me a break. What a bunch of bollocks.

But hey. It gets better.

You see. This lactation consultant has realized she is only one person and can only see people one at a time or in small groups. And so she cannot spread her "wisdom?" with many women. So to help us all continue to breed and feed the offspring least we perish from not knowing how, she has released a book.

Oh ye. Now we can all learn how to put a nipple into a baby's mouth so the baby can suck on it to get fed. Thank goodness for her book. Otherwise our species was surely doomed into extinction due to "lack of knowledge of how to feed a baby".

I wonder if there is a government approved course I can take to learn to be a Lactation Consultant? I wonder if it is a women's only position? I wonder how any woman can keep a straight face knowing there is a women out there calling herself a Lactation Consultant and who tells women how to breast feed a baby? I wonder how anyone can take the "consultant" seriously? I know I can't. I've never heard anything as ridiculous.

What's next? How to peel a potato consultant? We'd call them a Tuber Consultant. They could write a book telling us how to chew potatoes so we can live, or some such rubbish.

If Taxes Were Kicks In The Guts

Imagine a place were instead of paying taxes, a government "gut kicker" (from The Gut Kicker General's Office) came by on a daily/weekly basis and kicked you in the guts until you collapsed in pain. Now imagine that same government gut kicker did so much damage you had to have time off work each week to recover. And that the more money you made, the more kicks in the gut your received.

You'd be pretty reluctant to work hard and make money, wouldn't you?

Now imagine election time. Both politicians would be trying to get your vote by saying "I will kick you in the guts less than the other guy will." (They won't say they will stop all gut kicking, just that they may reduce it some.)

Do you think any politician will win in this kind of situation? Would you even put up with it?

Now imagine the politicians promising to kick other people in the guts as much (or more) than you, because it is only fair.

Would you cheer at such talk? Would you think that logic was, in fact, logical? Or would you think it sounds like a bunch of malarky?

Welcome to the real world. Were instead of kicks in the guts, we have taxes. And we willingly vote for total strangers to take money from us - and - to TAKE money from other people just because they work harder than us. And we like it if the harder worker should have more taken from them, because we don't want anyone to do better than us.

This is the world we live in. Sounds quite strange put so bluntly, doesn't it?

Watching the Democratic National Convention revealed John Kerry's tax surprises in waiting. Telling all how he was going to "increase health care" to rounds of cheers and applauds. Yet no-one questions or realizes that the only way to increase health care funding is to tax people more. To TAKE the money from people who are just trying to get by.

Let me ask you a question...

Why do you vote?

Seriously. Why? Why do you vote for a total stranger to take your money as they see fit? Why do you put someone into power knowing full well that you canNOT control them once they are in power?

I have the unique advantage of never having anyone I voted for winning their seat. And I've been voting for decades. But not once has a person I voted for won. Not once.

I feel privileged because of this. Because if someone I had voted for had won, I might have been tricked into believing in the voting system. But I know from first hand experience, that voting is a complete waste of time. And from a thinking perspective, doesn't really make much sense. For it means I am choosing someone to rule over me and take my money and spend it without accountability. And that the rule of the land is "mob rule."

Because mob rule is all about other people making choices for me, my property rights are automatically infringed upon. Enter the government gut kicker. Ready to take out his due as he decides - whether I agree or not.

Someone once termed our world as "Prison Planet." And the more I look around, the more I agree. But you might disagree. And if you do, I welcome your reasons why.

All Your Children Are Belong To Us

What a terrible state of affairs. Today, two very young children (5 and 3) were physically dragged into a car from where they were playing outside, and the car then drove off. Another young child who was also playing outside with the two abducted children, ran back to tell mom. The cops were called. A search began. The kidnapper dropped the kids off at her ex-boyfriend's house and then fled. She is wanted by police.

Hearing the story there is much tisk tisking about the usual "can't even play outside anymore" kind of comments. But I ask something different.

I ask what on earth were a 3 year old and a 5 year old doing playing on the street around the corner from their home WITHOUT adult supervision!?!?!?!?

What kind of drongo parent lets a 3 year old play on the street in front of the house let alone around the corner?

I am glad the children were ok. But I am pissed at the parents. They need to have a darn good talking to for their negligent actions. Their actions are deplorable.

Finally, Some People get It. (ZERO Income Tax Alert!!!)

Back in June I posted an entry entitled "Committing Heresy: Get Bush Out In 2004" which you can read here. And within that piece I said "The ONLY thing which will help the economy will be to ABOLISH INCOME TAX and instigate a FLAT CONSUMPTION TAX. To make tax a true "user pays" system."

Well. It seems some others understand this too. For from Drudge comes this piece...

REPUBLICANS PLAN PUSH FOR ELIMINATION OF IRS

**Exclusive**

A domestic centerpiece of the Bush/GOP agenda for a second Bush term is getting rid of the Internal Revenue Service, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

The Speaker of the House will push for replacing the nation's current tax system with a national sales tax or a value added tax, Hill sources tell DRUDGE.

...

"By adopting a VAT, sales tax, or some other alternative, we could begin to change productivity. If you can do that, you can change gross national product and start growing the economy. You could double the economy over the next fifteen years. All of a sudden, the problem of what future generations owe in Social Security and Medicare won’t be so daunting anymore. The answer is to grow the economy, and the key to doing that is making sure we have a tax system that attracts capital and builds incentives to keep it here instead of forcing it out to other nations."

Developing...

Read the full piece here.
This is the exact thing I wrote about which would cease the crash and get the economy into a state of perpetual growth. And it looks like the Republicans are also aware of this.

So come election time you have the choice of a future of "No income tax" from the GOP vs "Increased taxes" from Kerry - as Kerry wants to repeal the GOP's tax cuts as well as increase health care - which can only happen by increasing taxes on someone.

Of course, if the GOP has forsaken this election, they may yet decide to let Kerry win so the crash happens on his watch and so they can gain control of both houses, win in 2008, then abolish the IRS as they plan and turn the economy around.

I must say, however, that if they do this brilliantly smart thing of abolishing income tax and replacing it with a flat consumption tax, then it will hurt a lot of offshore financial systems off the coast of the U.S. (Maybe that is the plan? - for the conspiracy fans.)

While the thought of no income tax is appealing, the question is, is it worth a total loss of privacy as The Patriot Act would be fully implemented and even increased in scope? Is "no income tax" worth the government having total unrestricted access to your bank account - under the name of "fighting money laundering of terrorist networks"?

Half of me wants to jump for joy at the prospect of a country like the U.S. waking up and getting rid of income tax. But the other half wants to see what the catch is first.

Side note: In my previous post I predicted that Hillary would be Kerry's running mate. I under-estimated Clinton. He obviously can see the crash coming too (after all, he is the reason for it) and probably advised Hillary NOT to go for VP. To instead, let the crash happen. So if Kerry wins then the crash happens on Kerry's watch and Hillary can run in 2008 or 2012. And if Bush wins, the crash happens on his watch and Kerry won't be able to turn it around, leaving Hillary free to run again in 2008 or 2012.

But if the GOP can get their "no income tax" through, then the economy will pick up, tremendously, and Hillary won't stand a chance. This would be the tactic that Clinton didn't figure the GOP would use, or the one he figured they would never be able to get put into law.

Either way, now that "no income tax" seems to be a goal of the GOP, it will be interesting to see the kinds of arguments that come out AGAINST it and WHO makes those arguments. Of course, those arguments will all be useless and won't hold up to scrutiny. And, those arguments will fall by the wayside once the GOP points at Russia (another LARGE country) growing their economy due to vast tax cuts.
