Fanatic Wacks

Fanatic: a person with an extreme or unreasoning enthusiasm or zeal.

Michael Jackson... the black man who changed his skin color, had chin implants, numerous nose jobs, work on his hair, and who, for all intents and purposes, is suffering from the "there is something wrong with me" syndrome plastic surgeons see all too often. A syndrome which sees normal looking people get extensive work done, in the hopes it will change them on the inside.

So the formerly black one has been charged with molesting children. As expected, his family has come out in support. Makes sense, he is financially supporting them (along with help from sister Janet). So they will certainly not "bite the hand that feeds them." No surprise there.

His FANatics have also come out in support, proclaiming his innocence. And their proof. OH that's a doozy... "we know he is innocent because he just wouldn't do that. And we know he wouldn't do that because of the lyrics in his songs." And this, from the same type of people who cried their eyes out when he got married because, "I was hoping he was going to marry me."

These fans are as bad as MJ. They have also lost touch with reality. Are living in some kind of dream world alternate universe where fantasy is reality and true reality doesn't matter. (Much like the Nazi and Hitler fans who adore their idol and his party, despite all rational evidence to the contrary.)

Take away the zealot-like fans. The unreasoning fans. And look at the FACTS. Not how you (they) want things to be.

There is a lot of odd stuff going on. Grown men do not sleep with the children of other people. And, normal parents do not let their children sleep in the beds of other grown men. This is NOT normal behavior in any culture in the world.

And it certainly isn't normal after the events of '93, when MJ paid millions of dollars in an out-of-court settlement to stop similar child molesting accusations from seeing the light of day.

Let's face it, if you are innocent, you do NOT pay someone millions of dollars just because they reckon you did something. You FIGHT. You proclaim your innocence. You prove your innocence. The only conclusion which can be drawn from such "roll over" action is, one of guilt.

Does that mean he did it? Does paying off someone ten years ago for claiming you molested them, having someone else now claim molestation, as well as being charged with the same, mean you actually did it? Does telling lies on TV - lies we all know and see he told - mean he did it?

Based on circumstances you could assume so.

Consider this: The number one thing police do not like doing is charging people with a crime and having them get off. It means they did a lot of work for no result.

What they tend to do is, gather enough evidence to prove their claims. They will not take someone to court unless they have this evidence.

So the fact they have charged him and are taking him to court means, as far as they are concerned, MJ did do the things they are charging him with and they have enough evidence to prove as much and get a conviction.

Does that mean MJ will be found guilty?

That will depend on the jury. And in a case like this, just one fan infiltrating the jury can always vote "innocent" while everyone else votes "guilty" - thus preventing a conviction.
